Fruit Fly‑Free Mango Farming: Step‑by‑Step Guide Using Rashvee Technologies

This video provides a complete overview of Rashvee’s Integrated Fruit Fly Management strategy for mango orchards, demonstrating how a combination of traps, sprays, and baiting systems can effectively reduce fruit fly infestation in both organic and conventional farming. The video explains how Rashvee’s climate‑resilient, non‑insecticidal technologies are designed to offer a residue‑free, eco‑friendly, and economically viable solution for farmers.  The first technology covered is PhalRakshak – Rashvee Climate‑Resilient Liquid Lure Traps, a non‑insecticidal lure that remains effective for over 65 days, even under high temperatures. The video demonstrates how farmers can repurpose discarded water bottles as low‑cost traps using Rashvee’s specially designed weather‑resistant yellow caps. These odor‑based lures disrupt the orientation and mating behavior of female fruit flies and support mass trapping, quarantine monitoring, and diversity studies. Trap placement guidelines—such as installing 10 traps per acre in mango and 15 in guava, custard apple, or dragon fruit—are also visually explained. The video then illustrates how Veraxaa Herbal Liquid Soap combined with Neem/Azadirachtin functions as a repellent and odor masker. Dosage instructions for flowering and fruiting stages are clearly demonstrated, along with spray intervals that help manage sucking pests while keeping the canopy clean.  Next, the video covers Rashvee Phytofer Bait Pits, showcasing how fermented fruit waste mixed with Phytofer bait serves as an organic mass‑trapping method. For conventional growers, the video also presents the trunk‑splash bait method using deltamethrin.  Finally, the video summarizes the outcomes: fruit fly–free mangoes, zero chemical residues, healthier soil, improved fruit quality, 30–40% yield increase, and a trapping system that costs 70% less than standard market traps.
